I am a licensed mental health counselor who sees infants, children, families, and adults. I have the most experience with autism/Asperger's, learning disabilities, infant mental health, and parent education. I also have considerable experience with adults and changes of life. I am a developmentalist who considers the client's experiences and stage of life. I try to address the current concerns of the client while considering the client's developmental history and experiences. I am expanding my practice to include more adults.

A fourth-grade girl whose mood rapidly changes from irritable to euphoric, and then back again, day after day. The sixth grade boy who can't fall sleep alone in his bedroom because he “can’t turn off his brain”. I'm a masters level counselor, licensed in both RI and CT, with a wide range of lived experiences who offers a mature, calm and compassionate style of counseling to those who are struggling with life's challenges. Kaylee is a licensed mental health counselor and registered dance/movement therapist with 10 years of experience working in the mental health field through college practicums, internships, and professional employment. Kaylee has experience working with several populations including: adults with dementia in nursing facilities, neurodivergent children in early learning centers, and adolescents and adults in inpatient and outpatient psychiatric facilities. Kaylee’s approach is best described as “eclectic, somatic, and person-centered” as she believes that therapy should not be a “one size fits all” experience.

I help to build a bright future for children and families. The Center for Learning and Psychological Services offers comprehensive psychological and learning based services to individuals birth to age 25. My specialty areas include;psychological and neuropsychological evaluations, behavioral services, diagnostic evaluations, and individual and group counseling, and play based therapy. I also coordinate all learning based services through our center for; tutoring, executive functioning coaching, and learning based support.

I specialize in treating pre-teens, teens, adults, and families. I have over 20 years experience treating clients struggling with behavioral disorders, depression, bipolar disorders, social anxiety, generalized anxiety, stress and anger management, poor self-esteem and codependency, life transition issues, complicated grief reactions, childhood trauma, divorce and family adjustments related to remarriage, adoption, trauma and loss.

Having over 15 years experience with children and adolescents in psychiatric inpatient, agency and educational settings. I have had the opportunity to serve children, adolescents and families facing adversity. I have an eclectic approach to therapy, promoting a better understanding of the biological perspectives of mental health, while drawing from multiple treatment models including; internal family systems, trauma informed care, cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, person centered therapy , reality therapy, solution focused and play therapy. After graduating from Rhode Island College with my Master of Social Work degree, I worked as a School Social Worker providing mental health, social skill, and behavioral support to children and adolescents. I have additional experience providing outpatient therapy within community mental health and supporting individuals facing stressors resulting from crisis, trauma, life transitions, and structural and systematic challenges.
