Therapy provides a safe, open space where individuals have the freedom to explore ideas and to work through feelings and experiences without fear of judgment. I work with adults ages 18 & up throughout the Philadelphia region and have extensive experience working with individuals with anxiety, depression, unresolved grief, histories of abuse, and learning differences. Areas of specialty include major life transitions, family and peer relationships, school and work challenges, transitions to/from college or graduate school, and issues related to identity.
I hold a Masters from Bryn Mawr College with a certificate in Child and Family Wellbeing. I received the Patricia Burland Award for Excellence in Clinical Social Work and am a past Board member of the Pennsylvania Society for Clinical Social Work. I earned a B.A. in history from Oberlin College and previously worked in the arts.
My background includes extensive work in university psychological services and community mental health. I am happy to arrange a free 15-minute consultation.
