I received a Master of Social Work from Tulane University, a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of New Orleans, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Writing Arts from State University of New York at Oswego. I have worked in community-based mental health as well as private practice. Before counseling, I taught in schools in New Orleans and Boston, working with students with disabilities. I am located in Ohio and am also licensed to practice virtually in Florida.

After years of providing a broad range of services, in the context of a traditional private practice office which I closed at the end of 2017, I began doing therapy online. I decided to do this to maintain a limited level of professional activity, available to select clients for whom the online service delivery platform would be appropriate. Services are available to children, youth, adults, and families, at the rate of $75 per 45-minute session and payable via PayPal.

I am a School Psychologist that has worked in education for 21 years. I complete psychoeducational evaluations and screenings to help parents and students better understand their learning patterns and needs. Through assessment, a student's learning struggle can be identified so that the right path of intervention and services can be put into place. I work with parents/students to plan out an evaluation that will encompass their concerns and provide answers.

Hello! I'm Dr. Julie Henzel, and I'm a licensed psychologist and certified school psychologist with nearly 20-years of experience. Neuroconverge is neurodiversity specialized psychology practice providing therapy, assessments/evaluations, educational consultation, and parenting support. I offer treatment/assessment for a range of needs including Autism, learning differences, ADHD, behavioral concerns, anxiety issues, and mood concerns. I also identify as neurodivergent, having received an adulthood diagnosis of ADHD. I feel this provides me with added insights into better understanding the needs and experiences of my clients.
