I am passionate about evaluating children, adolescents, and young adults for neurodiversity, including giftedness, learning disabilities (including Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, and Dyscalculia), ADHD, intellectual disabilities, and Autism. I truly enjoy assessing individuals for possible twice exceptionality (both gifted and having a disability) and mild or atypical presentations of Autism, including Autism in females.

I use evidence-based modalities such as CBT, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Mindfulness, Talk Therapy, and the use of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) through The Institute For Creative Mindfulness, an approved EMDRIA training facility. My definition of "trauma" is any memory that gives you a physical sensation, for example that feeling in the pit of your stomach when you think about it. By utilizing various interventions including EMDR, ego states and mindfulness, I am uniquely equipped to help those who have experienced severe and ongoing traumas create a path of hope and healing.

Bowling Green State University's Psychological Services Center (PSC) offers a broad range of mental health services to the NW Ohio community. Our staff of approximately 40 doctoral students in Clinical Psychology work under the close supervision of licensed psychologists who are BGSU faculty or adjunct faculty. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and young adults with a wide range of presenting issues and specialize in treating eating disorders, body image disturbances, depression and other mood disorders, personality difficulties, relationship struggles, and anxiety/panic disorder. I also specialize in psychological/psychoeducational testing to assess learning abilities, attention, cognitive skills, and intelligence. My treatment approach is very individualized and I tend to focus on both current symptoms/behaviors and the origins of a person's struggles. In addition to assessment, I provide individual counseling for children experiencing anxiety, difficulties with impulse control, social skills, and executive functioning challenges. I also partner with parents for behavior support, especially for toddlers and kids. I am a fierce advocate for LGBTQIA+ youth and their families.

Ms. Griffith is a Board Licensed School Psychologist conducting private practice in the Columbus, Ohio area with over 15 years of experience in public schools. Ms. Griffith provides thorough and skilled independent psychoeducational evaluations for children (ages 3 and up) and adults with learning differences. Assessments include IQ testing, achievement, adaptive behavior, social-emotional status, ADHD, executive function, and autism to find the source of your or your dependent's challenges.
