I've spent nearly four decades learning and teaching at the former St. Vincent’s Hospital dept. of Psychiatry in Manhattan’s West Village treating children, adolescents and adults. The issues: family crises; trauma; learning disabilities, attention deficit disorder, asperger's syndrome; mood instability and the paralyzing effects of anxiety/panic. It takes grit, patience; the right educational space and faith in growth. I coach clients into enriching and sustainable university and graduate school placements and writers into a safe free creative space.

I earned my BA in Psychology from St. Peter's University and a Master of Social Work from Rutgers University. I have over 20 years of experience as a School Social Worker in addition to my clinical work with individuals and couples. I'm a licensed clinical psychologist & certified school psychologist. My training includes work at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Kean Psychological Services, private practice, & several school districts. When you sit with me, we'll focus on what's going on, create a timeline of your symptoms, and discuss your thoughts, behaviors, & feelings. I am a Neuropsycholoigst with 25 years of experience in treating patients with brain injuries. I treat children, adults, and geriatric patients who have experienced brain injury. Brain Injury can happen to anyone. Concussions from a motor vehicle accident, sports injury, strokes or dementia can affect people at all ages. Dr. Susan White is a NJ licensed psychologist and certified school psychologist. She has dedicated private practice work to adults interested in individual, couples, and group psychotherapy. A clinical interest in the area of anxiety-related concerns has prompted Dr. White to secure additional training in exposure therapies. Prior to becoming a psychologist, Dr. White worked in finance and consulting allowing her clients access to elevated executive coaching as well.

Paul graduated from The College of NJ with a Masters in Counseling. Prior to coming to Pathways, Paul was a full time Lecturer in Psychology at Ocean County College. Prior to that, Paul was the Supervisor of Student Personnel Services at Colts Neck High School. Paul specializes in all facets of therapy including, individual, marriage and family and an emphasis on adolescents.
