Jennifer Biegel has experience working with children, adolescents, and families. She spent several years working as a K-8 school social worker. She has worked with youth and families dealing with depression, anxiety, OCD, bullying, learning and attention challenges, family dynamics, physical health related issues, and behavioral difficulties. In 2018 she completed the International OCD Foundation’s Pediatric Behavior Therapy Training Institute and takes part in a monthly OCD consultation group. She has extensive training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and exposure and response prevention (ERP).

We use a series of interactive tasks to then identify your personal strengths and weaknesses. In doing so, we can then help you more deeply understand your unique set of strengths and weakness and how this impacts daily life. This information is then used to determine the best recommendations to help you meet your goals.

Dr. Shannon Calvert is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP). Dr. Calvert earned her bachelor's degree from Bradley University with a major in Psychology. She received her doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology with a focus in Health Psychology from Illinois School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, Schaumburg Campus. She completed her training in a variety of settings, which included placements at Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital and Trinity Services, Inc.

Hi, welcome! My main goal is to help give you information about your child or yourself. Some questions I can work with you to answer include: How does your brain work? Where are your strengths and weaknesses? How can you use your natural strengths to improve deficits or problem areas?

Schools and school districts have many resources for addressing a parent's concerns; however, sometimes additional resources are needed. As a clinical psychologist who specializes in working with school-aged children, I partner with parents, schools and other professionals to provide the answers to your questions.

Dr. Jennifer Stafiej received her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University in 2015. She had dedicated several years to working with children and families as a school psychologist before transitioning into the field of clinical psychology. She specializes in conducting psychological assessments related to intellectual functioning, Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder, personality disorders, disruptive behaviors, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Dr. Stafiej’s approach to conducting psychological evaluations is to establish an excellent therapeutic relationship between therapist and client.

I aim to help children, adolescents, and young adults struggling with academic/social success. Whether dealing with ADHD, Learning Disorders, social skill deficits, motivation, or limited access to support services - a neuropsychological evaluation is the first step on the road to success. Children are often referred by their pediatrician, neurologist, classroom/ resource teacher, or school psychologist due to concerns regarding their functioning. Comprehensive evaluations are tailored to your child's individual needs. Comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations typically include : intelligence, achievement/academic skills, executive functioning, learning and memory, language, visual spatial skills, coordination, social skills, behavioral and emotional functioning, and personality.

Shannon received her Masters in Social Work from the University of St. Francis with a specialization in Advanced Generalist Practice. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from St. Francis as well, graduating Summa Cum Laude, with a minor in Criminal & Social Justice. While there, she was inducted into the Phi Alpha Social Work Honor Society as well as Alpha Phi Sigma Criminal Justice Honor Society. Shannon sees learning as a continual process and brings her passion for learning to the work she does with every client.

Hello and Welcome! My name is Kathleen Monroe and I possess a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago and am licensed in Clinical Social Work in the state of Illinois. In addition; I hold a Certification as an Alcohol and other Drug Abuse Counselor. Clients that I have worked with struggled in areas of mental health and substance abuse ranging in a diagnosis of Anxiety, Depression, Self-esteem and feelings of self-worth concerns, Post-traumatic stress disorder, Addiction related disorders, Learning disabilities, behavioral spectrum disorders, Autism, Adjustment Disorders, and Psychotic Disorders.

Dr. Ashley Petersen received her doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Child/Family Psychology from California School of Professional Psychology. She gained extensive experience while completing her training in various mental health settings, including with behaviorally and emotionally challenged children and foster children and their families. Dr. Petersen has a vast amount of experience in conducting psychological evaluations with children, adolescents, and adults with ADHD, learning disabilities, & developmental disorders. She has experience attending IEP meetings & providing recommendations for schools.

Matthew continues his work in education as a professor in the psychology department at COD. He works extremely well with clients interested in learning skills to flourish with ADHD or autism.
