I provide ND diagnostics, ND individual & couples therapy, as well as parent coaching & therapy, executive functioning coaching, and behavior planning/modification.

I use DBT and CBT to talk about mindfulness, awareness, perspective and trauma. I am trauma certified and enjoy helping people with the good and bad traumas of life. Working on your goals is very important. I like to think that we work on you as a whole person. I teach a lot of coping skills because some work now and some may work later but a lot of tools within your toolbox is important.

My experience as a mother of three has helped me understand how attachment plays an important role in how we develop. Our early attachments, trauma, and life experiences can create incredible discomfort and we learn ways to cope and survive, that are not always helpful. Some people think that going to therapy is about getting advice from someone, but our job is to help you learn to trust yourself. My goal as a therapist is to be accepting, non-judgmental, and help to create a safe space for you to grow.

At Oasis Psychological services, I conduct psychological evaluations for individuals ages 8-65, psychosexual evaluations for juveniles and adults with sexual behavior problems, and assessments for juveniles with delinquency and/or substance abuse issues. I also conduct disability evaluations. I offer support to families who are struggling with challenging behaviors from their children and adolescents in home or at school. I offer a unique systemic approach that includes parents in the treatment process that is not found in many other practices. This systemic approach is extremely affective and helps keep parents in the loop and helps families complete the treatment goal faster than other approaches. As I believe therapy for children should be brief and solution focused so they can get back to being a kid.
