I can help you understand old maladaptive patterns and create new positive ways of connecting in the world. My goal is to assist you in discovering your own answers to your questions. I use an integrative approach which can include cognitive techniques as well as working with relationships patterns. It can be helpful to come at one's issues from many angles and to work with mind, body and spirit. The focus can include increasing effective coping strategies, strengthening internal resources, and becoming more empowered.
I assist in helping relieve mood swings, depression, anxiety and anger. Facilitating healing from trauma and navigating the challenges around brain trauma, ADD, chronic illness and pain are specialties. I assist individuals and couples with relationships, marital and divorce issues, losses, and grief. I aid seniors, their families, and caregivers with adjustments in later life.
Where you look affects how you feel! Brainspotting is an amazing tool that helps you gain access to your subcortex in order to process and release trauma. Brainspotting can be utilized for grounding, creating resources, decreasing pain, phobias, and enhancing performance. I am a national Brainspotting trainer and run Brainspotting consultation groups for psychotherapists.
