I am a Licensed School Psychologist and a Licensed Master’s Level Psychologist. Prior to joining the clinical setting, I served as a school psychologist where I supported students’ social, emotional, behavioral, and academic needs. Now in the clinical setting, I use this experience to continue supporting students and their families. I specialize in the assessment and diagnosis of learning disorders (including dyslexia, dysgraphia, & dyscalculia), giftedness, ADHD, and other concerns related to learning. I have extensive experience in the assessment of dyslexia and have presented at the International Dyslexia Association Conference.

Relationships in trouble, infidelity, affairs, broken promises, broken dreams, conflicts in families, abusive relationships, addictions, parent/child concerns, grief and loss: These and many other painful experiences are a part of the concerns I may address with you in the counseling setting. My focus will be how you may heal your relationship. As a Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist, I will work with you to identify the source of your pain, and lead you through a process of healing. Included in the counseling process will be hope, help and establishing a secure base for your life and a "new normal".

My background as a school counselor has heightened my sensitivity to the pressure children and teenagers face at school—pressures to conform, excel academically, manage emotions, foster friendships, and cultivate self-esteem. These challenges are particularly daunting for individuals coping with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other mental health conditions. I've helped numerous children gain the necessary tools to confront these obstacles head-on, enabling them to flourish in their academic pursuits, interpersonal relationships and overall well-being. I would love to help your child build resilience, bolster confidence, and thrive.

I love making therapy a positive experience that leaves clients feeling happy and excited to come back the next week. My practice is focused on therapy with kids, teens, adults, and families. I use play therapy, Theraplay(tm), and Whole Brain Child interventions to reach kids and teens. I enjoy working with adults on determining what career path to take, how to adjust to college/full time employment, mid-life career issues, and stress management/mindfulness skills. Issues from Anxiety, ASD, and Depression often pop up at this time of life. I am here to help them navigate!

Dr. Griff is a licensed Clinical Psychologist with a specialization in Sports/Performance Psychology as well as an additional specialization in Trauma Psychology. Dr. Griff offers individual, family, child, and couple therapies in his group practice. He also offers health psychological and sports psychological services. Furthermore, Dr. Griff can provide psychological services to first responders, law enforcement, and military. He has experienced in providing a multitude of services as he was trained by the United Nations and has worked with the US military and professional athletes.
