I’m Leanne Tanis, trauma therapist and founder of Honoring the Survivor Within. I help adults reconnect with their bodies, emotions, and inner wisdom through trauma-informed care that is grounded, compassionate, and somatically. I also support clients facing infertility and other life transitions that can re-activate old wounds of grief and powerlessness.
My style is warm, grounded, and trauma-informed. Using Somatic Experiencing, attachment-based therapy, and parts work, we’ll help your nervous system learn safety, not just talk about it. You’ll begin to understand your reactions, build emotional regulation, and create the capacity for closeness without losing yourself.
