Hello! My name is LeAnne Pleasant, LCSW. As a seasoned therapist, I am passionate about assisting each of my clients to fully occupy their lives in the healthy and rewarding manner they desire. The choice to begin psychotherapy is not always an easy one and I strive to provide an environment where you will feel comfortable to begin the remarkable work of therapy.
My style is to be warm and authentic with clients and to provide the accepting environment necessary to build trust. Over the years, I have learned that while providing clients with respect, acknowledgment, and validation is appropriate and appreciated, it is also not enough.
I have wanted to be a Therapist since I was a 15-year-old going through a rough time and in subsequent years working with and being inspired by talented and dedicated therapists. A detour into another career prevented me from realizing this goal until I returned to school to get my Masters Degree in Social Work.
