I am a licensed independent clinical social worker with experience using several evidence-based techniques such as cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). Using these techniques along with a holistic approach, I treat adults, teens, and children with a variety of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and ADHD. NOTE: I do not offer specialized assessments (i.e. emotional support animal, return to work/fitness for duty, etc.)
My action-oriented approach to therapy involves setting treatment goals and providing clients with skills to achieve their desired results. I use direct communication as well as humor to encourage relaxed, yet professional and productive sessions.
Whether new to therapy or looking to return to treatment, I enjoy working with clients who are ready and motivated to better themselves. I understand that while the work is not always easy, it is always worth it!
