Are you or your child experiencing depression, anxiety, or other emotional issues? If so, let’s talk- I want to help you to get to a place of healing. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and it is a joy to be able to assist people working towards positive change. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I work with children, teens, and adults. I am experienced in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, anger, low self-esteem, and with working in the foster care system. My husband and I are blessed to be parents through adoption, and working with adoptive families is near and dear to my heart.
I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which has been shown to be very effective in helping a range of issues. Depending on age and client preference, I incorporate the creative processes of play and art activities to assist with building emotional regulation, healthy coping and problem-solving strategies, and increasing self-esteem and social skills.
I strive to provide a supportive and non-judgmental environment, and I want to collaborate with parents when working with children and teens. Integration of faith into counseling is available for those who request a Christian perspective. My mission is helping, and I believe that kindness and empathy help make the world a better place.
