About
**Currently not accepting new clients** I believe each client is the expert in their own life and has the strength and potential to work through life problems. My role is to provide support and assistance in reducing their symptoms and promoting growth towards wellbeing. I believe in a holistic and individualized approach to counseling, tailoring treatment to the needs and goals of each client. I empower my clients by helping them build skills and utilize their strengths and life experiences to achieve their goals. I am currently accepting new clients ages 16 and older.
I utilized a person-centered, strength based, somatic & emotion focused approach. I provide animal assisted therapy services with my therapy dog in training, Grover. I have been trained to work with the following presenting issues: trauma, sexual trauma, domestic violence, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, stress and life transitions.
My medical background offers me the opportunity to work with survivors of medical related trauma & trauma associated with on the job experiences for medical professionals & first responders.
