There are times in our life when growth looks confusing, and we can develop unpleasant symptoms or maladaptive coping skills. We all go through phases in our lives, and I think that sometimes we benefit from help navigating the more challenging situations. Some of my clients I have seen for years, and others see me as they would their medical provider, when issues arise. My hope is to help you successfully process your thoughts and feelings and discuss alternative choices or behavior.
I have been practicing since 2004. I offer a nonjudgmental ear and gentle, direct feedback. Once we assess the issue, we also examine and practice any skills that may need augmenting. My intention is to help you manage your thoughts and emotions and give you the tools you need to overcome your challenges.
I have always considered it a privilege to be allowed into people's lives when they are in a challenging phase, and I believe in a strong therapeutic relationship that can be maintained if you choose to come in every week or four times a year.
