It is my goal as a therapist to support and encourage individuals to make the necessary changes needed for emotional stability and wellness. When working with a client, I focus on the skills they need to better cope with or overcome the challenges and stressors they face. Whether someone is dealing with a reoccurring mental health concern, a relational issue, or a life transition, I strive to provide a safe space where people can process, reflect, learn and grow.
My clinical experience has equipped me to work effectively with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, work/school stress, ADHD and trauma. My background in family and child development allows me to share insights into the impact of developmental stages on current behaviors and functioning when working with kids, teens or parents.
I offer clinical and Christian counseling to preteens, adolescents, and adults. I have training and experience implementing several therapeutic approaches. My goal is to always adjust my approach, style and therapeutic techniques to each client's individual personality and needs to help make the sessions both comfortable and productive.
