My diverse education and training in Mental Health Counseling & Marriage and Family Therapy allows me to treat a wide variety of mental health issues and life crisis. I specialize in treating clients suffering from emotional abuse, domestic violence, trauma, and PTSD as well as depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and co-dependency. I believe that each one of us is capable to achieve our greatest self, and the only person you should try to be better than, is the person you were yesterday.
I work with individuals, couples, families and groups. My approach is person-centered and humanistic. Some modalities I utilize are solution focused, cognitive behavioral therapy, and psychoanalytic.
My therapeutic approach is tailored to each client's unique needs and strengths. My goal is to empower my clients to take charge of their lives confidently and courageously. I am well suited to work in the multi-cultural environment of south Florida and in being culturally sensitive.
