My style of therapy encompasses the idea of motivating through speaking your truth. I reach people with my honest, genuine, and real sense of intuition about challenges they face. My goal for clients is to increase personal awareness of problematic behaviors they want to change and then engage in finding new ways to incorporate change in their lives with struggling with power, control, depression, trauma, relationship problems, loss of identity, stillbirth, grief, and divorce. I completed my PhD through researching and treating emotion avoidance strategies with the population of individuals with PNES.
I utilize EMDR, ACT, DBT, CBT, person centered, trauma model therapy and motivational interviewing techniques. My experience comes from working at a behavioral health hospital on both an inpatient and outpatient level of care. I have been trained in trauma model therapy by Dr. Colin Ross of the Ross Institute.
I have extensive experience with clients who experienced childhood and adulthood trauma, sexual abuse, neglect, SRA, depression, anxiety, PTSD, difficulty managing anger, borderline personality disorder, divorce, grief, infant loss, stillbirth, miscarriage and disassociative disorders. I find that my energy flows over into the therapeutic relationship with my clients.

Groups
Dissociative Identity Disorder Educational Group
This group meets biweekly to aid individuals struggling with dissociative identity disorder to learn coping skills, boundaries, and gaining some support for living with this disorder. The group engages two therapists to provide education to the participants about how to manage parts of the system and develop healthy ways of living with DID. New groups start quarterly and meet in sections of 5-6 sessions per quarter via Telehealth making it accessible to anyone who meets criteria for the group.
