I am passionate about human beings and an avid advocate for mental health. I believe each person has a unique and important story that they bring to therapy and I strive to create space for each client to share, connect, and grow. There is great strength and vulnerability in seeking help and I consider it a privilege to assist others in their journey through therapy. When working with clients, I use an eclectic approach in practice in order to best fit the client's needs. I view counseling as a collaborative effort in helping clients to recognize strengths, identify needs, understand conflicts and discover new options.
My areas of specialization include: Child Therapy, Trauma Healing, Families/Couples, Mood Disorders & Sexual Addictions. I'm passionate about creating space to discuss and work through challenges and believe therapy can be a helpful environment to be intentional about growth and healing.
Overall, I strive to be my genuine self in the counseling room; I like to be candid with clients and invite them to be their true self as well without fear of judgment. I am equally easy going as well as willing to challenge clients in the process of therapy. I believe therapy is a place to share laughter, tears, joy, trials, and everything in between.
