I believe therapy works best when clients feel truly seen, understood, and supported. I offer a warm collaborative approach that integrates both talk therapy and art therapy to help children, adolescents, and adults express emotions while building insight and developing effective coping skills
For many Clients, putting feelings into words can be difficult. Art therapy provides a developmentally appropriate and non-threatening way to communicate thoughts and emotions that can feel overwhelming or hard to explain. In addition, art intervention encourages self-expression, stress reduction leading to emotional healing with traditional talk therapy.
I have extensive experience working with children and teens who struggle with anxiety ADHD, emotional regulation challenges, mood concerns, and low self-esteem. My style is warm direct and solution focused. I emphasize building strengths and increasing emotional insight in addition to helping clients develop healthy coping outside of our sessions.
