English
| Français My practice focuses on women's mental health/ fertility / pregnancy / postpartum (incl. new dads & LGBTQ families), grief (more specifically early mother loss, and pregnancy loss), and relationship issues. Throughout our lives, we're constantly relating to one another, and building new experiences from these relationships. Unfortunately, relationships can also often feel unfulfilling, or make us feel neglected. They can bring on feelings of loss and disconnection. Then, life in general starts to feel unfulfilling. This can be changed. Psychotherapy, where the fit between patient-therapist is right, can be an immensely powerful tool.
I have a broad outlook of what it means to be "normal." I believe therapy is for everyone, as none of us go through life unaffected by its many complexities. This is no weakness: it's part of being human. I view symptoms of anxiety or depression as messengers of unmet needs. They're trying to tell us something.
I am collaborative, respectful to your personal history, and fully engaged in the process with you. I also have a sense of humor! This process can feel daunting, but you are on the right track. I look forward to hearing from you soon & please specify your availability for a consult.

A unique group aimed to unite and support grieving daughters / womxn who lost their mothers before age 20. Focus will be on the complexities of navigating the world after the loss of a mother. In particular, the group will examine: the unfolding of grief; obstacles to the grieving process; finding one’s identity amidst an early parental loss; impact of loss on present relationships; continuing bonds; coping with loss; mothering without a mother (applies to: existing moms, moms-to-be, and those ambivalent to motherhood); parenting ourselves.
