About
I believe therapy is for everyone, as none of us go through life unaffected by its many complexities. This is no weakness: it's part of being human. Life often has a way of making us feel alone, misunderstood, or strange. Situations arise that make us feel unloved, empty, disconnected, or isolated. This can be changed. I work collaboratively, and come from a place of deep respect and empathy. I let the client guide me in what I consider to be an egalitarian journey. My goal is that each person feels safe, seen, and heard.
I specialize in a wide range of issues, such as anxiety, depression, maternal mental health, identity, men's issues, relationship problems, grief & loss (incl. prolonged/complicated grief), and work stress. I also have extensive experience working with children on areas such as emotional regulation, ADHD, anxiety, loss & grief, and social skills building.
I have an advanced certificate in the psychology of Sexuality, Women, and Gender. I earned a dual Masters degree from Columbia University in Counseling Psychology and Mental Health Counseling, and am currently pursuing post-graduate training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy.

Mother Loss/Motherless Daughters Group (PAUSED)
A unique group aimed to unite and support grieving daughters / womxn who lost their mothers before age 20. Focus will be on the complexities of navigating the world after the loss of a mother. In particular, the group will examine: the unfolding of grief; obstacles to the grieving process; finding one’s identity amidst an early parental loss; impact of loss on present relationships; continuing bonds; coping with loss; mothering without a mother (applies to: existing moms, moms-to-be, and those ambivalent to motherhood); parenting ourselves. Best suited to those whose loss occurred more than 12 months ago.
