“We don’t have to do all of it alone. We were never meant to.” — Brené Brown
As human beings, we are resilient. We navigate life, doing our best to avoid getting hurt, but sometimes we break. I am inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi, which repairs broken pottery with gold or silver, highlighting the imperfections and making the piece beautiful once more. Trauma and addiction can leave us feeling broken, but just like Kintsugi, I believe that healing and transformation can create something stronger and more beautiful.
In my work, I combine person-centered and mindfulness-based therapies to support you in the healing process, whether it’s making a change or finding the strength to move forward. I view every person’s story as a privilege to hear and hold with care.
I don’t believe anyone wakes up intending to become addicted to a substance or behavior. Yet, many of us turn to these things to cope with overwhelming emotions. My goal is to help you discover healthier ways to navigate life, find peace, and reclaim your best self.
