Trauma does not discriminate. It can happen to anyone no matter their circumstances. Fortunately, there are also treatments that can help. In my 20 years of experience, I have born witness to the incredible resilience of individuals who have experienced trauma and firmly believe that recovery is possible. I have expertise in working with survivors of all forms of trauma including (but not limited to) service members, veterans, journalists (JTSN certificate), childhood abuse, chronic invalidation, developmental trauma, intergenerational trauma, immigration-related trauma, race-based trauma, and interpersonal violence.
I am an expert in PTSD and trauma and am certified in evidence-based & informed treatments for PTSD (CPT, PE, EMDR, ACT, DBT skills) from a culturally-affirming lens. I offer free 15 min phone consultations to help decide if you want to take the first step into therapy with me. I am available to see clients who reside in CA/DC/MD/VA/IL.
Therapy can not only help you realize that you are not alone, but also provides valuable tools that puts you on the path of healing; it takes courage and I will be here to support you through the journey. I offer individual therapy to adults as well as clinical supervision and consultation.
