I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with a background in nutrition. I have a Master of Social Work and Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences/Dietetics form Louisiana State University. In my private practice, I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders, mental health, trauma, PTSD, body image, self-harm, women's issues, borderline personality disorder, health and wellness. I also have professional experience providing treatment for behavioral health, addictions, co-occurring disorders, and personality disorders.
I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches to provide individual, family, and group therapy for adolescents and adults. I am also trained in EMDR therapy which is very effective in treating trauma, PTSD, anxiety, phobias, and numerous other psychological conditions.
I believe the therapeutic process should be individualized, collaborative, and strengths based. It should focus on treating the whole person and helping them create a healthy, balanced lifestyle.
