The primary task of psychotherapy, is to offer a different perspective in order to gain a deep level of self awareness. This awareness can challenge existing patterns that are no longer serving us. Together, we will explore areas in your life where you feel stuck/trapped, difficulty in relationships, unresolved early childhood issues and life transitions.
I conceptualize my work Psychodynamically with an emphasis on Intersubjectivity theory. What this means, is that I examine unconscious process by looking at past events and relationships and how they relate to the present and by examining the therapeutic relationship to see how these unconscious processes play out.
