Thank you for taking the first step in seeking out counseling. Many clients are having trouble navigating through a whole bunch of life and personal issues. It may include difficulties with relationships, problems on the job, unresolved issues from the past, grief and loss, mood disorders, impulse control, uncertainties about the future. Some people are reluctant to seek out a professional thinking how can they understand my issues? What do I talk about? Can I really open up to them about some of my deepest issues? Well, I want you to know, that whatever it is, you have come to the right place. I look forward to guiding you.
I have 22 years of post- licensing experience in the counseling field. Have worked successfully with adults, teens, pre-teens from a wide variety of backgrounds. I use a practical, common sense approach to get at the root cause of issues. My therapeutic approach includes many different modalities, including person centered, strength based, family systems.
I can't promise that all your problems will magically go away. But I'm very easy to talk to. Have been told I'm an empathetic, creative problem solver. I'm confident that together we can do whatever it takes to put you in a better place. I believe in the miracle question.
