I provide a form of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) that combines standard "talk therapy" with Jungian-based tools and art/play therapy approaches that allow for much greater exploration of the unconscious than standard CBT. With 25 years counseling experience using a wide variety of therapy techniques I have found this combination works far better than other approaches for getting good results. Many of my clients are dealing with trauma issues, whether recent or from childhood. I also help clients who are experiencing issues of depression, anxiety, PTSD, and relationship problems, as well as those with specialized issues like dark thoughts, dissociative disorders, pornography addiction, /or religion abuse. I welcome unusual and creative people.
As a child I grew up "gifted" but also sexually abused, I utilize these experiences in working with exceptional children or those who grew up so. Now in my 70s I find I provide a depth of life experience helpful to those younger than I, and a comfortable fit to those in their senior years.
