I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 15 years of clinical experience working with individuals, families, couples, and the BIPOC community sharing my knowledge on mental health and wellness. My mission is to live out my purpose of bringing mental health awareness and wellness into the lives of others through kindness, compassion, and empathy. As a trained psychotherapist I believe that therapy should be holistic, encompassing all aspects of my clients. Through Psychoanalysis, Cognitive Behavioral Theory, Mindfulness & other modalities she helps Clients navigate the stressors and anxieties of daily living.
My approach to therapy is through a trauma-informed lens, acknowledging that everyone at some point in their lives has experienced trauma, no matter how small, and therefore this has shaped who they are as a person. Working from this lens allows me to meet each person where they are and respect their unique differences and challenges.
I prioritize creating a safe environment for my clients that reflects my holistic and healing approach. Safety in the therapy space looks like transparent and honest communication with the client while being open to feedback. This promotes optimal growth as Clients feel acknowledged and held throughout this therapeutic intervention.
