First and foremost, I want to help you create a space for exploration and healing. We will do that by working together to build a partnership that is as unique as you are. People tend to look into counseling when life events feel overwhelming, difficult to navigate, and stressful. I am here to really listen and I want to understand what you’re facing. Much of who we are as people is directly related to the relationship between ourselves and our emotions. I firmly believe that we each hold the unique power to grow and solve issues inside ourselves. Healing takes curiosity and intention.
You can expect warmth, empathy, and empowerment when working with me. I use evidence-based and trauma-informed therapeutic techniques when working with my clients. Sessions will be in a nontraditional setting. Two specific areas of my expertise are working with people who struggle with emotional availability and anger, and perinatal mental health.
I work with people of all genders ages 14 and up. There are a variety of reasons people reach out to me. I work with people healing after trauma, cultivating self-love, overcoming shame, creating identity and meaning, finding balance, stress, anxiety, disconnection, life transitions, depression, sadness, trauma, veteran issues, PTSD, self-esteem, anger, etc.
