Thank you for visiting my page! I am a big-hearted, passionate, down-to-earth therapist who genuinely believes in the skills that I teach. I love my career because I have the privilege to support you on your journey through this crazy game of life...what an honor! My therapy style weaves a unique combination of skill-building, support, humor, and firmness to help you snap out of simply "existing" in order to start truly living again. Let me help you get out of your suffering so you can begin to build a life worth living!

I specialize in the treatment of adults and families affected by trauma, mood and anxiety disorders, personality disorders, and related issues. My main treatment modalities are Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), but I have also received specialized training in multiple other evidence-based treatment options.

I have over 15 years of experience providing individual and group therapy to veterans through the Veterans Administration. My work specializes in mood and adjustment issues that veterans and their loved ones typically encounter. In my private practice, I enjoy working with clients ranging in age from early adolescence to late-adulthood.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) Group

Do you get hooked by unwanted thoughts and feelings? Do you feel like your mind is your worst enemy? Do you feel stuck in your suffering? If so, then this ACT skills group may be the right fit to help you get out of your mind and back into the life you value. At the start of your treatment, I provide a binder with articles, worksheets, and other skill-building materials to supplement this class. ACT is an evidence-based modality for the treatment of depression, anxiety, OCD, chronic pain, and psychosis.
