About
Laurie Schulte is a therapist with over 15 years of mental health experience working in both community and hospital settings. She obtained her master’s degree in Social Work from University of Missouri-Kansas City. Laurie also has a post graduate certificate in gerontology and bachelor’s degree in Expressive Therapy.
Laurie focuses her practice on work with adults and older adults struggling with grief/loss, trauma (including PTSD) adjustment disorder, depression and anxiety. A new passion is applying Somatic Experiencing Advanced techniques including Safe & Sound Protocol to assist her clients process trauma. She is trained in EMDR and CBT treatment modalities.
