About
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) whose Individual practice is dedicated to Pet Loss Grief Counseling & Caregiver Support. Grieving the loss of an animal companion can be especially lonely in our culture. Our grief may not be recognized by those around us; our relationship not understood. I provide a safe place for you to grieve: to share uncomfortable thoughts, feelings and difficult care-giving decisions, to share photos & stories. If you are feeling the harshness of a world seeming not to notice your profound loss, together we can explore ways for you to honor your beloved & find meaningful connections.
My work is informed by my own experiences as a pet parent, the guidance of mentors, and all I learn from those I am honored to serve. My intention is that you will feel seen and respected and with this, peace will grow in your heart. Grieving can become an affirming, healing journey of valuing the unique life, bond and passing of your beloved.
I also offer Caregiver Support around the stress of caring for a beloved animal companion who is living with a serious illness or injury. If you are overwhelmed with on-going changes and treatment decisions, grieving the loss of more playful times or anticipating your beloved's passing, together we can explore ways to be guided by love more than fear.
