I have a passion for walking alongside individuals and families as they strive to live rich, fulfilling lives. Since 2000, I have been providing Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy to children struggling with attachment sensitivities. As part of of treating children with attachment issues, I have also developed strategies for addressing many of the challenges that often exist alongside attachment problems such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, sensory issues and executive function delays. I find great joy watching children and families find a way forward to a place of hope and joy. I also offer counseling for Christians interested in christian counseling.
The success of work with children is heavily influenced by the impact a counselor is able to make with parents. My work often involves helping parents find hope and joy in the midst of struggles. Both adults and children are encouraged to find ways to cope with challenges successfully.
