My professional training includes a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology- Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of San Francisco, and a Master of Arts degree in Counselor Education from the University of Wyoming. I have extensive experience working with couples, individuals, single adults, and teens. I have four children and have been married for 30 years.
We all experience multiple transitions in life. As a former university dean, I have worked with individuals and organizations to clarify goals and areas of strength. I seek to assist my clients in the adjustment and redefinition process, coming alongside them as a source of support for their growth.
A major focus of my practice is working with couples experiencing conflict, infidelity, life-phase issues, and negative relational processes, seeking to reestablish the emotional health of the individuals and couple relationship. I also offer co-parenting, seeking to establish a positive emotional environment for children in the family.
