I have worked in the field for over 20 years. I graduated from Boston University and have worked in a variety of settings including public housing, a senior center and senior agencies. I also have taught social work courses at Salem State and North Shore Community College. When I am not working I can be found planning travel adventures that I sometimes take. I work with people who struggle with obsessive-compulsive disorder, hoarding, and anxiety. I also work with family members of people who hoard. I offer a warm judgement-free space where you find a starting place and make small changes that will create bigger changes in your life.
Our first session will be a time to get to know each other and also complete assessments to see where we are starting and create goals for where we want to initially achieve. I use worksheets and homework to make the time between sessions a chance for you to practice what we work on together.
