I enjoy working with clients ready to make the changes to reach their mental health goals. Whether struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or other concerns, I am willing to walk with a client through the journey of improved mental health. I prefer to use empathy and direct communication to find the habits that can be modified to make the changes necessary to decrease and alleviate the struggles present.
I specialize and have been trained in several modalities to treat PTSD, trauma, and the other mental health challenges that stem from both. I use TF-CBT, TANT, TBRI and CBT to provide a safe environment for exploring how history and learned habits are hampering positive mental health.
Trauma and it's effects are deep reaching struggles that lead to difficulty in current functioning. It is a scary process for clients to reach out and open themselves to the possibility of releasing these traumas. I have made it my career goal to provide a safe environment to release and reach the desired healing.
