Hello, Future Clients! Thank you for considering me as someone who might assist you on your journey through a challenging time in your life! My name is Lauren, and I have over 15 years of experience helping clients of all ages, races and sexual orientations manage mental health and substance abuse issues in individual therapy, group therapy, and couples therapy modalities. I am proudly open and affirming working with people from all walks of life! My primary theoretical orientation is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, however I use an eclectic blend of therapy techniques as needed and as is appropriate.
I graduated with my Master's degree in Clinical Professional Psychology from Roosevelt University in Chicago, IL in 2007. I have an extensive history of assisting clients dealing with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, substance abuse disorders, sexual identity and sexual orientation issues and other problems in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
I am very passionate about helping clients reach their therapy goals by making the client an integral part of the treatment plan, while allowing you to come as you are to a place of unconditional support.
