I truly enjoy working with young adults around life issues such as mood disturbances, anxiety, and life transitions; as well as working with the perinatal population and helping new moms/parents adjust to the major shift in life that undoubtedly takes place when you have a new baby. If you haven't really been feeling like "you" lately and have struggled with any of these things, we can work together to begin to process these emotions and build the skills to manage them in a more comfortable way. I believe that you have capabilities and strengths within you that we can draw out and build on in order to help you move forward.
My specialties include working with young adults, typically ages 18-25, as well as new moms/dads/parents in the postpartum phase. I can help to build coping skills to manage struggles like depression, anxiety, and relationship or family challenges. I welcome individuals from any background and approach with cultural sensitivity.
