You may be coming to work on goals such as improving coping skills, feeling less depressed, healing from trauma, and improving communication/relationships. Our time together can help you heal from difficult experiences and improve your sense of well-being. Your mental health matters and I appreciate being considered for being your therapist.

In therapy, I will provide compassionate support and collaborate to meet your goals. My clinical background is in supporting individuals with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and life stressors. I often work with neurodivergent individuals who are experiencing burnout.

I am committed as a clinician to provide an inclusive therapeutic environment that affirms individuals of their identities (racial/ethnic identities, gender identity, sexuality), cultures, experiences, and beliefs. Virtual DBT Skills Workshop

This is a virtual DBT Skills Workshop that is beginning February 11, 2026. The workshop is specifically designed for neurodivergent adults (18+). Please indicate your interest by emailing lauren@markovitscounseling.com. Sessions are a structured yet flexible space that affirms neurodivergent experiences while teaching practical skills drawn from the four core DBT modules: Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness. The workshop costs $50 per session, is held over 20 weeks, and meets on Wednesday evenings (5:30 PM - 6:30 PM ET).
