Hello!
I enjoy working directly with adults in the queer community, individuals struggling with grief and loss, and those struggling with substance use. As a queer woman, I understand the difficulties of living in a society that is not always understanding nor validating. If you have felt ostracized because of who you are, or because of things that have happened to you, I see you.
I have spent the last 8 years working with diverse individuals on issues related to adjustment/life transitions, self-identity, life stressors, addiction, anxiety, depression, death and dying, and grief.
Using a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, humanistic therapy, and solution-focused techniques, we will explore avenues for moving forward, finding ways to help you feel empowered and ready to face the coming journey and the meaning it may bring.
