I work with teens and young adults who feel overwhelmed, anxious, shut down, angry, or misunderstood. Many of the young people I work with are navigating anxiety, depression, social struggles, school stress, or big life transitions. Some are talkative. Some aren’t sure they even want to be in therapy yet, and that’s okay.
My approach is genuine, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I focus on building real trust first. Teens need a space where they don’t feel judged, lectured, or like they’re being “fixed.” They need someone who listens, helps them make sense of what they’re feeling, and gives them practical tools they can actually use.
With teens, I partner with parents in thoughtful ways. Parents will stay informed and supported, while your teen maintains the space they need to do meaningful work.
