I help high-performing, driven people individually, or in relationship. Perfectionism, people pleasing, identity crises, grief, substance use challenges, body dysmorphia, anxiety and depression are some examples of what bring my clients to therapy. I work through a depth psychology framework and draw from Internal Family Systems and Attachment theory. My approach explores the unconscious psyche and its impact on our daily lives and closest relationships. Most clients I work with are seeking clarity and perspective around chronic challenges or significant upsets.
Clients will develop a relationship with their self as they are, not who they imagine themselves to be. With athletes or systems with high-performers, we work to gain clarity about the purpose of the pursuit, improve self-regulation, develop awareness of the impacts a pursuit can have on one's self and others & improve emotional flexibility in/out of sport.
