Accepting new clients! You are a person of color and/or queer individual who feels frustrated, sad, or maybe even confused at the state of the world. You are someone who wants to change but does not know where to start. You say "I'm fine" but feel the opposite. You are someone who says you have a "complicated" relationship with your parent(s). If you identify strongly with one or more of these statements, you are in the right place! I will help you uncover the meanings you make in your life story, discover your values and how to integrate them into your relationships, and make the changes necessary to embrace your authentic self.
I believe in showing up genuinely and love to hear clients discuss how media or even hobbies have impacted them. I deeply value laughter with clients while also "keeping it real"! I often hear "ooo that's a good question" as I am honestly curious about my clients, their stories, and finding moments to challenge people to think outside their typical patterns.
I utilize an eclectic blend of approaches including IFS, Narrative, attachment, and decolonizing framework. If you enjoy non-traditional modalities, I like to include tarot in sessions. Therapy jargon aside, my biggest hope is you felt seen reading this and that you continue to in our work together. I applaud you for taking the steps to show up for yourself!
