I have over 15 years of experience working with individuals and/or loved ones of individuals struggling with issues including, but not limited to: depression, anxiety, adjustments, bereavement, eating disorders, family conflict, and psychotic disorders. I have worked in various settings such as: psychiatric hospitals, group homes, day treatment programs, and outpatient counseling offices. My specialty lies within adolescent (High School+), and young adult populations, as well as the eating disorder, chronic mental health, and borderline personality populations.
My goal is to help you discover how to make positive changes in your work, family, and personal life to achieve a sense of balance. Through greater awareness of thought patterns & feelings, and by developing strategies to cope, new ideas & feelings will begin to emerge. Together, our work will be strength-based & solution-focused
I utilize a conversational approach while weaving in Cognitive-Behavioral techniques to achieve goals. For example: stress-management, coping skill development for anxiety & depression, discovering potential, developing self-esteem, and improving relationships, etc. Now offering limited weekend appointments.
