Mind–Body Freedom is the goal. I integrate somatic therapies with traditional talk therapy because, when it comes to trauma, talk therapy alone often isn’t enough. We can’t think our way to feeling safe. Many of us already understand why we feel the way we do — yet still feel stuck. As I often say, “If you could have thought your way out of it, you would have done it by now." ;) Somatic and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) can help with that. Trauma, chronic stress, and anxiety are stored in the body & nervous system. That fight, flight, or freeze survival energy.
True healing happens when we gently release that stored survival energy, allowing the mind and body to realign in a felt sense of safety, calm, and connection.
