I understand and respect those that are dealing with pain or other difficulty in their lives and consider it an honor to be able to help navigate these thoughts and emotions. I feel that the best course of treatment is the one that you and I design together, which meets your specific needs. I have the skills and you provide the direction. I love seeing the growth that can occur when people are given the right tools and understand how to use them.
My therapeutic style is empathic, warm and inviting but direct in order to increase their awareness for change and meeting their goals. I have a strong concentration in women’s issues as it pertains to relationships, divorce, addictions, anxiety, depression and domestic violence.
I enjoy building positive relationships with clients. My goal for all clients is that they develop new strategies for coping in their relationships with family, friends and work. I believe that “we all attempt to manage life’s daily struggles as best as we can.” Therapy can be a safe place to develop alternative ways of achieving our goals.
