I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing outpatient therapy virtually and in-person. I entered this profession with my own trauma history that has informed my therapeutic approach, and I strive to create a space where others can share their experiences. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and young adults living with trauma, anxiety, depression, and family relationship challenges. Outside of the therapy office, I have experience working with adolescents, families, and older adults within the child/adult welfare systems, as well as with family members of individuals battling addiction.
I utilize techniques from both EMDR and Trauma-Focused CBT to assist in processing past traumas, reducing distress, and developing adaptive beliefs to move forward without being controlled by your past. I'm passionate about creating a safe space for clients that exhibits unconditional empathy and understanding (and humor, when needed).
In therapy, we will start wherever you're most comfortable- whether that's reprocessing past trauma, sharing relatable TikToks, or playing UNO until you're ready to delve deeper!
