Healing is messy, and it’s also beautiful! You may feel stuck in a cycle that’s painful and no longer serves you, or you have a desire to look further inward. No matter the reason that brought you, I am glad you are here. It is 100% okay to ask for help, no matter what people have told you. Challenges are inevitable in life and are often a cue to action. When challenges go unresolved or unaddressed, they may get in the way of how you feel about yourself. The good news is there are many things you can learn and unlearn about yourself and the world you live in. I will support you through that learning and healing process.
I often work with adults, teenagers and couples who struggle with self-esteem, trauma, grief, substance use, depression, and anxiety. I recognize that there are many paths to the same destination, and I make sure we are on the path that feels right for you. I want to get to know you and understand from your perspective about the world you live in.
I use a variety of modalities and techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, and Emotionally Focused Therapy.
