My practice primarily focuses on helping people who struggle in relationships. I use attachment theory to identify the type of dysfunction/trauma you adapted to early in life. These adaptations often create dysfunction or dissatisfaction in your relationships as an adult. We focus on how you attach to partners, peers, work, and yourself in ways that reflect your past and work on changing them in the present.
Primarily I use CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, and a trauma informed lens to help implement behavioral changes to alleviate mental and emotional stress. I also help families looking to navigate levels of care and mental health systems.
