I love helping people who feel stuck. Stuck with spiraling anxiety and/or OCD. Stuck with memories of a painful life experience that happened a long time ago, but feels like it was just yesterday. Stuck with negative beliefs about yourself. Therapy can help you get unstuck! I specialize in anxiety and trauma counseling for individuals of all ages. I understand the vulnerability + courage it takes to start the journey towards healing and growth and I know that it is through genuine connection and the safety of being able to show up and have all parts of you welcomed, heard, and cared for that change and healing can happen.
My approach is relationally focused + neuroscience informed. I use CBT, ACT, and ERP therapy to help people experiencing anxiety and/or OCD reach their goals and find relief. I am also trained in EMDR therapy which is an evidence based trauma therapy that accesses the root of your current symptoms and helps you find an even deeper peace and healing!
In addition to supporting adults, I am also a Registered Play Therapist and have specialized training in understanding the unique needs of kids. I specialize in helping kids experiencing anxiety and/or OCD. The good news is that with the right support + strategies, kids can learn how to understand their anxiety or OCD, manage it, and feel more confident!
